Tottenham described Tonali as one of Europe’s best midfielders, highlighting his technical quality, football intelligence and character. The 26-year-old gives Spurs considerable experience in the center of the pitch and should become an important figure in their new-look midfield.
Jan Paul van Hecke
Tottenham strengthened their defence with the signing of Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton. The Netherlands international signed a long-term contract after establishing himself as an experienced Premier League defender.
Van Hecke had already worked with De Zerbi at Brighton, giving him an existing relationship with the manager and familiarity with his footballing ideas. Spurs will expect the center-back to bring greater stability and composure to their defense.
Mateus Fernandes
Mateus Fernandes arrived from West Ham as another addition to Tottenham’s midfield. The Portuguese midfielder was part of Spurs’ extensive rebuild and gives De Zerbi another technically capable option in the center of the pitch.
Marcos Senesi
Marcos Senesi joined Tottenham from Bournemouth on a free transfer, providing another experienced option at center-back.
The Argentine defender had already spent several seasons playing in the Premier League, meaning Spurs were getting a player familiar with the demands of English football. His experience was particularly valuable as Tottenham reshaped their defensive unit.

Sávio
Sávio became another major attacking addition when he moved to Tottenham from Manchester City. The Brazilian winger arrived for a reported £75 million and was viewed as one of the headline signings of Spurs’ summer rebuild.

Tottenham believe Sávio’s pace, creativity and ability in wide areas can give De Zerbi’s attack a completely different dimension. The manager also has a previous relationship with the player from his time in management, making the move particularly intriguing.
Omar Marmoush
Omar Marmoush joined Tottenham from Manchester City on a season-long loan, with a mandatory purchase clause reportedly worth £50 million plus up to £10 million in performance-related add-ons.
The Egyptian forward was brought in to add more firepower to the attack after Spurs missed out on Iliman Ndiaye. Marmoush brings pace, movement and versatility to the frontline and could become one of the most important attacking players in De Zerbi’s system.
Andy Robertson
Tottenham also added one of the Premier League’s most experienced full-backs in Andy Robertson. The former Liverpool captain arrived as a free agent, giving Spurs a player with extensive Premier League and Champions League experience.
Martin Dubravka
Martin Dubravka joined Tottenham from Burnley on a free transfer to strengthen the goalkeeping department.
The Slovakia international already had extensive Premier League experience from his previous spells in England, making him a relatively low-risk addition as Tottenham reshuffled their goalkeeping options.
