Tottenham Hotspur barely escaped relegation last season, and for the second time in two seasons, they ended the Premier League season in 17th place. Roberto De Zerbi took over a sinking ship towards the end of last season, and now, he has been handed the tools to steer the ship full time.
Tottenham spent heavily in the transfer market, more than any other English side, and all eyes will be on them this season. The expectations are high for De Zerbi, and top four seems like the bare minimum right now. Can they achieve that?

Solanke saves the day
Dominic Solanke scored in stoppage time to earn Tottenham a 1-1 draw at Manchester United. United appeared set to claim three points after Bryan Mbeumo broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute, but after Rodrigo Bentancur’s dismissal, a defensive error from Lisandro Martinez allowed Spurs to snatch an equaliser.
