That condition has now been fulfilled after Roma secured at least a top-five finish in Serie A, guaranteeing continental football again next season. Roma currently sit fifth in the table on 67 points, level with AC Milan and just ahead of Como with only two matches remaining in the campaign.
Malen has quickly become one of the standout performers in Italian football since making the move to the capital, transforming Roma’s attack with his pace, movement, and finishing ability.
The 26-year-old has produced an outstanding return of 13 goals and two assists in just 16 Serie A appearances, making him one of the most effective signings of the winter transfer window. With his future now secured permanently, Roma will hope Malen can continue to play a central role as the club pushes to re-establish itself among Italy’s elite and compete strongly in Europe next season.
