Tottenham are exploring elite attacking targets after missing out on Eli Junior Kroupi, with Roberto De Zerbi hinting more major signings are still to come.
Tottenham Hotspur have been forced to rethink their transfer plans after missing out on highly rated forward Eli Junior Kroupi, with the North London club now intensifying its search for an elite striker ahead of the new Premier League season.
Kroupi had emerged as Tottenham’s leading attacking target, and the club had been working on a deal to bring the Bournemouth youngster to North London.
However, the forward’s recent foot injury, which is expected to sideline him for three to four months, has brought negotiations to a halt and forced Spurs to consider alternative options.

Despite the setback, Tottenham remain ambitious in the transfer market. The club is already pursuing Manchester City winger Savinho, but manager Roberto De Zerbi is also keen to add a proven center-forward to strengthen his attacking options.
Speaking about the club’s recruitment plans, De Zerbi suggested Tottenham’s business is far from complete. “The transfer market, it’s not finished for sure. We have completed 60 percent of our project in the transfer market. Now we have another bomba,” the Italian said, hinting that more high-profile arrivals could still be on the way.
Spurs have already enjoyed a busy summer, signing goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, defenders Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke, as well as midfielders Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.
Those additions have significantly improved the squad’s depth, but De Zerbi appears determined to further strengthen his frontline.
Tottenham Weigh Several High-Profile Forward Options
Reports suggest Tottenham have already explored moves for several established attackers.
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and Real Madrid youngster Endrick have all reportedly been discussed as potential targets during the current transfer window.
The club is also believed to retain long-standing interest in Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz, while other options closer to home have not been ruled out.
Chelsea striker Liam Delap has been mentioned as a surprise possibility, Brentford forward Igor Thiago is admired by members of Tottenham’s recruitment team, and uncertainty surrounding Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United could also present an opportunity.
With the Premier League season fast approaching, Tottenham are expected to move quickly to secure another attacking reinforcement. Although Kroupi is no longer expected to arrive this summer, the club remains confident it can land a high-quality forward capable of adding goals and helping De Zerbi build a side capable of competing much higher up the table.
