Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to intensify their search for a new forward this week, with the club ready to press ahead with another major signing as their remarkable summer spending spree continues under Roberto De Zerbi.
Eli Junior Kroupi remains one of Tottenham’s leading attacking targets after emerging as a priority earlier in the transfer window. While Spurs have explored several options, sources indicate the Bournemouth forward is still viewed as the standout candidate to strengthen the club’s frontline.
The North London side have continued to assess the market in recent days, with links to AC Milan winger Rafael Leao and Real Madrid youngster Endrick gathering momentum. There is substance to both rumours, but Kroupi is understood to be the player currently at the top of Tottenham’s shortlist.
Any move, however, is expected to be expensive. Bournemouth are believed to value the highly-rated 20-year-old at more than £80 million, although that asking price has not deterred Spurs from pursuing a deal.

A successful move for Kroupi would cap an extraordinary transfer window for Spurs, who have already agreed a club-record £85 million deal for Mateus Fernandes from West Ham and are expected to complete a move worth up to £100 million for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali.
Those additions follow the arrivals of Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi, Andrew Robertson and Martin Dubravka as Tottenham continue a major squad overhaul.
After backing De Zerbi heavily in his first transfer window, the club’s attention has now shifted towards adding another elite attacker, with Kroupi emerging as the next marquee target.
