Roma have submitted their first offer to Chelsea for Alejandro Garnacho while also making enquiries for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville.

Roma have stepped up their search for attacking reinforcements by submitting their first formal offer to Chelsea for Alejandro Garnacho while also opening talks with West Ham over Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville.

The Giallorossi are preparing for their return to the UEFA Champions League after ending a seven-year absence from Europe’s premier club competition.

Strengthening the squad has become a priority as Gian Piero Gasperini looks to build a team capable of competing on multiple fronts.

Roma’s immediate focus is adding wide attackers who fit Gasperini’s high-intensity style of play. Their plans accelerated after Mason Greenwood completed his move to Fenerbahce in a deal worth €40 million plus €2 million in bonuses, with the England forward reportedly agreeing a €10 million-per-season salary.

According to reports, Roma have now presented Chelsea with their opening proposal for Garnacho. The offer includes a €5 million loan fee with an option to make the move permanent for an additional €35 million.

The agreement could also include clauses that would automatically turn the option into an obligation to buy if certain performance-related conditions are met, although Chelsea are yet to respond to the proposal.

Roma are not relying on one target alone. The club has also approached West Ham regarding Summerville, who enhanced his reputation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup by scoring two goals and providing two assists for the Netherlands.

The 24-year-old is widely expected to leave the Hammers following their relegation from the Premier League. However, Roma face stiff competition for his signature, with Galatasaray, Manchester United and Chelsea all reportedly monitoring his situation.

Another player under consideration is Strasbourg winger Diego Moreira. Roma are said to have prepared a proposal worth €30 million plus a 10 per cent sell-on clause as they continue exploring multiple options to strengthen their attacking department before the transfer window closes.
