Harry Kane has reflected on Bayern Munich’s painful Champions League semi-final defeat to PSG, admitting the German giants created enough chances to reach the final.

Harry Kane has described Bayern Munich’s Champions League semi-final exit against Paris Saint-Germain as a difficult moment after the Bundesliga champions narrowly missed out on a place in the final.

Bayern were eliminated following a dramatic 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night, with PSG progressing 6-5 on aggregate after edging a thrilling two-legged contest.

Kane scored Bayern’s only goal deep into stoppage time, but the England captain admitted afterwards that his side had enough opportunities throughout the match to book their place in the final. “It’s tough,” Kane said after the game. “We had enough chances today to reach the final.”

Despite the disappointment of their European exit, Bayern still have the opportunity to end the campaign with a domestic double after already securing the Bundesliga title earlier this season.

Kane is now fully focused on the upcoming German Cup final against VfB Stuttgart on May 23, as Bayern look to finish the season on a high note. The striker also shared his thoughts on the upcoming Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal, suggesting the French champions may hold a slight advantage heading into the showdown in Budapest.
