Antonio Conte has suggested he could leave Napoli after securing Champions League qualification, while leaving his future uncertain ahead of talks with president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Antonio Conte has cast doubt over his future at Napoli, hinting he could leave the club at the end of the season despite guiding them to UEFA Champions League qualification.

The Partenopei sealed their place in Europe’s elite competition with a decisive victory away to already-relegated Pisa, bouncing back from a surprise 3-2 defeat to Bologna that had delayed confirmation of their top-four finish.

Early goals from Scott McTominay and Amir Rrahmani put Napoli firmly in control before Rasmus Hojlund added a late third, ending his recent scoring drought and wrapping up a comfortable win. However, attention quickly shifted away from the pitch as Conte’s post-match comments suggested uncertainty about whether he will remain in charge next season.

The Napoli coach reflected on the progress made since his arrival, stressing the difficult state the club was in when he took over and highlighting the transformation in mentality and competitiveness.

Conte also revealed that president Aurelio De Laurentiis was already aware of his thoughts, saying their discussions had covered both positive and negative aspects of his tenure.

While praising their working relationship, the Italian admitted he would always be grateful for the opportunity to manage Napoli, describing the experience as uniquely intense and meaningful compared to other clubs.

Conte further hinted at unfinished conversations regarding his future, with reports suggesting he could be open to a return to the Italy national team setup if he decides to step away from club management this summer.
