Bayern Munich Willing to Accept €200m Release Clause to Keep Michael Olise

Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to include a €200m release clause in Michael Olise’s new contract as they seek to secure the France forward’s long-term future.

The proposed clause would mark a change in Bayern’s usual approach to player contracts, with the Bundesliga club traditionally reluctant to give players a fixed route out. Their willingness to make an exception reflects the growing importance of Olise and continued interest from Real Madrid.

Olise has strengthened his position during the international break after scoring four goals and providing two assists in four appearances for France under their new manager, Zinedine Zidane.

His performances have increased the pressure on Bayern to reach an agreement with the 24-year-old over an improved contract. According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Olise’s representatives have pushed for a release clause to be included in the new deal.

Bayern are understood to be ready to accept the demand, with the figure reportedly set at €200m. That would give Olise a clearly defined way to leave while ensuring Bayern would receive a substantial fee if the clause were activated.

Real Madrid have previously been linked with a move for Olise, with reports last summer claiming the Spanish club were considering a major bid for the winger.

Bayern’s willingness to negotiate over a release clause would offer Olise greater control over his future but also protect the German champions against a cut-price exit.
