Max Dowman has been recognised with three Guinness World Records after becoming a key part of Arsenal’s Premier League title-winning campaign before his 17th birthday.
The winger, who turns 17 in December, holds the records for being the youngest player to appear in the Champions League, the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history and the youngest player to win a Premier League title.
Dowman was 15 years and 308 days old when he came on during Arsenal’s 3-0 Champions League victory at Slavia Prague. He remains the only 15-year-old to have played in the competition.
His Premier League record came later in the season. Dowman scored Arsenal’s final goal against Everton after collecting the ball in his own half, going past two players and finishing into an empty net after Jordan Pickford had gone forward for a corner. He was 16 years and 73 days old.
The third record came with Arsenal’s title success. Dowman received his winners’ medal at 16 years and 144 days, beating the previous mark held by Phil Foden, who was 17 when he won the Premier League with Manchester City’s 100-point side.
Dowman made 13 senior appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. He came close to setting another age record when he made his Arsenal debut against Leeds at 15 years and 235 days, winning a penalty in the process. Ethan Nwaneri remains Arsenal’s youngest debutant after appearing against Brentford at 15 years and 181 days in 2022.
Dowman has continued to make an impact this season, scoring twice in Arsenal’s 4-2 Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich in September.
