AC Milan target Alexander Sørloth after salary demands stall moves for Vlahović and Lewandowski, as the club plans for the 2026/27 season.
AC Milan have reportedly shifted their focus to Alexander Sørloth as they continue their search for a new centre-forward ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Rossoneri are actively exploring attacking options, with several high-profile names already linked to a potential move to San Siro in recent months.

According to reports, Sørloth, currently with Atletico Madrid has emerged as a leading candidate after a productive campaign that has seen him score 17 goals across all competitions. AC Milan view the 30-year-old as a more financially viable option compared to other targets, particularly given the current market conditions and their wage structure.
Atletico are believed to value Sørloth at around €40 million including add-ons, although that figure could drop closer to €25 million depending on his performances in the closing stages of the season and at the upcoming World Cup.
Meanwhile, AC Milan’s pursuit of Robert Lewandowski has stalled due to the striker’s high salary expectations, which are considered beyond the club’s financial reach. A similar situation applies to Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus, although negotiations in that case are reportedly closer, with a smaller gap between the player’s demands and Milan’s offer.
As AC Milan refine their transfer strategy, Sørloth represents a balance between experience, output, and affordability, making him an increasingly attractive option as they plan for the future.
