Allegri Wants New Signings But Faces Budget Constraints

AC Milan’s Max Allegri wants to sign Adrien Rabiot and Dusan Vlahovic, but budget constraints are hindering the potential transfers.

AC Milan’s coach, Massimiliano Allegri, has set his sights on signing Adrien Rabiot and Dusan Vlahovic, two players he previously worked with during his time at Juventus. However, the club’s budget constraints are posing a significant challenge to these potential transfers.

Rabiot’s wages alone would be at least €5.5-6 million per season, excluding transfer commissions from Olympique Marseille.

The bond between Allegri and Rabiot is well-known, and Milan has been quick to express interest in the French midfielder. Rabiot’s experience playing in the Serie A and his ability to adapt to Allegri’s tactics make him an attractive signing. However, the club’s salary cap and budgetary constraints are limiting their ability to pursue Rabiot and Vlahovic.

Milan’s plan is to sign a midfielder, potentially Rabiot, if Yunus Musah is sold. Nevertheless, the club might still pursue Rabiot even if Musah stays. The main issue remains the costs associated with signing these players, which exceed Milan’s current budget.

Vlahovic’s transfer would also depend on reaching a consensus between the player, Juventus, and AC Milan.

Allegri’s desire to sign Rabiot and Vlahovic is driven by his familiarity with their abilities. Rabiot, in particular, has a strong bond with Allegri, having played together at Juventus. The coach believes that signing these players would strengthen Milan’s squad and help them compete at a higher level.

However, these transfers may not happen as AC Milan would need to make exceptions to their budget rules.
