AC Milan has set a €25 million asking price for Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze, with Premier League side Fulham engaged in intense negotiations to sign the 26-year-old.
AC Milan has placed a €25 million price tag on Samuel Chukwueze, as Fulham continues to negotiate his potential transfer. The Italian club wants a total package of €25 million, split between fixed and variable components.
Chukwueze’s future at Milan appears uncertain, with the player reportedly surplus to requirements despite the club’s attacking struggles.
Fulham has been in constant contact with Milan, working quickly to reach an agreement before the transfer window closes. The Premier League side had previously attempted to sign Chukwueze in the January window and are now making another push to bring him to Craven Cottage.
When Milan signed Chukwueze from Villarreal in 2023, the forward was given lofty expectations. However, his performances have been underwhelming, with just eight goals in 69 appearances for the Rossoneri.
Chukwueze’s limited goal-scoring record, including only four goals in 51 Serie A appearances, has raised questions about his value to the team.
The 26-year-old’s salary is another obstacle for potential buyers. Chukwueze earns €4 million net per season, which places him among Milan’s higher earners and complicates negotiations with interested clubs. Fulham and Spanish clubs have expressed interest in signing Chukwueze, but his wages and Milan’s asking price may deter some suitors.
