Ademola Lookman has rejected Napoli’s contract offer and is waiting for Inter, with whom he has already shaken hands over a deal worth €4.5m per season.

Ademola Lookman has turned down Napoli’s offer and is holding out for a move to Inter.

Despite Napoli’s improved offer of €5m per season, Lookman remains committed to joining Inter, where he has already agreed to a deal worth €4.5m per season, rising to €5m, until 2030.

Inter are in talks with Atalanta to reduce their €50m asking price for Lookman, with bonuses likely to play a key role in the negotiations. Lookman’s preference for Inter over Napoli and Atletico Madrid suggests that he is prioritizing a move to the Nerazzurri.

Meanwhile, Napoli has signed Noa Lang and Lorenzo Lucca and is planning to sign one more winger this summer. The club’s pursuit of Lookman may not be over yet, but the player’s clear preference for Inter makes it unlikely that he will join Napoli.
