The first 20 minutes was a cold affair between both sides but in the 34th minute, Chelsea were rewarded for all their struggles.
Chelsea had gotten a few chances in the game but failed to make them stick, however, in the 34 minute, Jackson played a sublime through ball in Neto’s direction and the Portuguese winger ran at full speed to latch onto the pass, cut inside to beat his nearest man before sliding the ball past Hugo Lloris in goal.
Chelsea added another in the closing stages of the second half through Enzo Fernandes to seal the game.
