Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti praised his team’s improved second-half performance after a 4-0 Serie A win over Pisa ended their four-match winless run.

Luciano Spalletti expressed satisfaction with Juventus’ strong second-half display after the Bianconeri ended their winless run in Serie A with a convincing 4-0 victory over Pisa. The result brought much-needed relief following a difficult spell for the Turin side.

The opening half of the match was relatively uneventful, with Juventus struggling to break down their opponents. Khephren Thuram was mostly limited to attempts from distance, while Jonathan David saw a header drift over the bar during a quiet first period.

Juventus finally found their rhythm after the break, opening the scoring when Kenan Yıldız delivered a cross that was headed home by Andrea Cambiaso. The goal was particularly special for Cambiaso as he celebrated his 26th birthday with a crucial strike.

Cambiaso’s effort marked his third goal of the season, making it his most productive campaign in a top-flight league. The breakthrough also lifted the pressure on Juventus, allowing them to play with greater confidence in the remainder of the match.

The hosts doubled their advantage when Manuel Locatelli struck the post and the rebound fell kindly to Thuram, who calmly finished. Yıldız then capped off an impressive performance with a brilliant goal of his own to put the result beyond doubt.

The young Turkish star continues to impress in Europe’s elite competitions. He is now one of only three players born in 2005 or later to have recorded at least five goals and five assists in Europe’s top five leagues this season, alongside Lamine Yamal and Yan Diomande.

Substitute Jeremie Boga added a fourth goal in stoppage time to complete the dominant victory.

Spalletti admitted that his side struggled tactically in the first half but praised their improved approach after the break, insisting the team deserved the win while encouraging his players to remain focused on their daily work despite recent setbacks.
