Tottenham Hotspur welcome Borussia Dortmund at home as UCL action resumes on Tuesday.

After a short hiatus, the UEFA Champions League is back, and Tottenham will play Dortmund at home.

Thomas Frank remains under fire after Tottenham’s 2-1 loss to West Ham at the weekend, and while the club’s hierarchy is debating over his future, he is expected to lead Tottenham against Dortmund.

While Tottenham have been underwhelming in the Premier League, the Champions League has been some sort of escape. Their last outing in the UCL saw them beat Slavia Prague 3-0. Tottenham are just one point away from the top eight in the UCL.

Dortmund, on the other hand, has been up and down in the UCL. They are a distant second in the Bundesliga and saw a two-goal lead slip in their last UCL outing against Bodo/Glimt.

Team News

Tottenham have a growing injury list, and Ben Davies has just joined that list. Van de Van is also missing due to a yellow card suspension. New signing Conor Gallagher is also not registered alongside the returning Bissouma. The clash will also be too soon for Pape Sarr, who finished his Africa Cup of Nations campaign on Sunday.

Dortmund are not so unfortunate on the fitness front, but Chelsea loanee Aaron Anselmino (hamstring) is still out, while Marcel Sabitzer (calf) and Ramy Bensebaini (illness) were also absent from the five-goal thriller with St Pauli.
