Manchester United have reportedly offered Joshua Zirkzee to Juventus and Roma as the Dutch striker edges closer to an Old Trafford exit after a difficult spell in the Premier League.

Manchester United have reportedly offered striker Joshua Zirkzee to both Juventus and Roma as the Dutch forward’s disappointing spell at Old Trafford edges closer to an early conclusion.

According to transfer reports, United’s hierarchy are already prepared to part ways with the 25-year-old after an underwhelming season following his arrival from Bologna in the summer of 2024.

Zirkzee arrived in England with high expectations after impressing in Serie A, where his technical quality, movement and creativity made him one of the league’s most highly rated forwards during his time at Bologna.

However, the striker has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League, and his market value has reportedly dropped to below €25 million, making a move back to Italy a realistic possibility for interested clubs.

Juventus are believed to be the most serious contenders for his signature at this stage. The Bianconeri are reportedly considering a loan deal that could include either an option or obligation to buy, allowing them to reduce the immediate financial burden of the transfer.

The Turin club see Zirkzee as a player capable of rediscovering his best form in familiar surroundings, especially given his previous success in Serie A and his strong understanding of Italian football.

Roma’s interest remains less advanced, although the Giallorossi are still monitoring attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window. Their pursuit of reinforcements could intensify if alternative targets, including Mason Greenwood, prove difficult to secure.

With strong agent connections in Italy and growing uncertainty surrounding his future in Manchester, Zirkzee’s situation is expected to develop quickly in the coming weeks as both Juventus and Roma assess the possibility of bringing him back to Serie A.
