Portugal captain has now won league titles in Portugal, England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia
Cristiano Ronaldo has finally won the league title for the first time since moving to Saudi Arabia, after scoring twice in Al Nassr’s 4-1 win over Damac that secured the Saudi Pro League crown on the final day of the season.
The victory delivered Al-Nassr their 11th league title and first since Ronaldo’s arrival in January 2023, with the club finishing two points ahead of rivals Al-Hilal after a tense finish to the campaign.
Al-Nassr had appeared in danger of throwing away their advantage at the top last week. They missed the chance to secure the title after goalkeeper Bento’s stoppage-time error in last week’s draw with Al-Hilal and then suffered disappointment in the AFC Champions League Two final defeat to Gamba Osaka.
They made no mistake on Thursday. Sadio Mane put his side ahead late in the first half before Kingsley Coman doubled the advantage shortly after the interval. Ronaldo then scored twice to take his league tally for the season to 28 goals and confirm the title.

The Portugal captain was substituted to a standing ovation with three minutes remaining and was emotional as supporters celebrated a trophy that had proved elusive during his first three seasons in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo has now won league titles in Portugal, England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia. The 41-year-old has also scored more than 100 goals for Al-Nassr since joining the club following his departure from Manchester United.
