Brazilian has an impressive record against Real Madrid and will be looking to deliver once again against biggest rivals

Raphinha is determined to be available for Barcelona as they face Real Madrid in the weekend’s clásico.

Hansi Flick’s side could secure the La Liga title in that game as they need only a point to retain their league crown, and Raphinha wants to play a part after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The Brazil international received medical clearance last week and, despite not featuring against Osasuna, is expected to be available for the decisive clash.

Raphinha has arguably been Flick’s most important player since the German arrived at the club in 2024, with his work rate off the ball as well as attacking influence in possession making him a key figure in Barcelona’s frontline.

The 28-year-old also has an impressive record against Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are the opponent he has faced most often in his career, with 12 meetings, and he has scored seven goals against them and recorded eight victories.

All seven of his goals against Madrid have come in his last five clásico appearances. He scored twice the last time this fixture was played in May 2025. He missed the first leg of this season’s league clásico in October through injury but returned for the Spanish Super Cup final, where he scored two of Barcelona’s three goals and was named man of the match as the Catalans won 3-2 in Jeddah.

This time a result for Barcelona would secure the league with three games remaining and Barcelona will be hoping the winger can once again deliver against their biggest rivals.
