AC Milan forward Rafael Leao has reportedly ended his relationship with his agent and is now working with lawyers as speculation over a summer transfer continues to grow.

Rafael Leao has reportedly made a major change off the pitch by ending his relationship with his long-time agent as uncertainty continues to surround his future at AC Milan.

According to reports, the Portugal international has decided to stop working with a dedicated agent and will instead rely on a team of lawyers to handle negotiations regarding his career.

The decision comes at a time when speculation over Leao’s future is intensifying, with the 26-year-old widely expected to consider a move away from San Siro during the current transfer window.

Although Leao has a €175 million release clause in his Milan contract, the Rossoneri are reportedly prepared to listen to offers of at least €60 million if a suitable proposal arrives.

Earlier this summer, the winger publicly admitted that he was open to taking on a new challenge, fuelling expectations that this could finally be the window in which he ends his spell in Serie A.

Despite those comments, no club from Europe’s top five leagues has yet submitted a formal offer. Reports have suggested Leao has been discussed with several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, but no concrete interest has materialised.

Meanwhile, reporters claim that clubs from the Saudi Pro League have already begun making enquiries. To facilitate any possible move to the Middle East, Leao is now being represented locally by a Saudi-based agency.

With Milan willing to negotiate and Leao actively reshaping the team managing his career, the coming weeks could prove decisive as one of the Rossoneri’s biggest stars edges closer to a potential summer departure.
