Barcelona had started the match with confidence, yet PSG soon found ways through their defence. Goalkeeper Joan Garcia made several important saves in the opening stages to keep his side in the contest. He denied Pedri after the midfielder drove into the penalty area and later stopped Ferran Torres from close range.
PSG also threatened through Anthony Gordon, who missed a good chance at the far post. Barcelona struggled to keep possession and repeatedly gave the ball away in dangerous areas. Their problems grew when Ousmane Dembele was forced off with an injury in the 20th minute, with Torres coming on to replace him.
The hosts eventually made their pressure count shortly before half-time. Barcelona lost possession in their own half and PSG moved forward quickly. Desire Doue finished the move with a fine shot into the bottom-left corner to give the home side a deserved lead.

Garcia continued to keep Barcelona within reach after the break, but the visitors found a way back into the match in the 56th minute. Fermin Lopez combined with Xavi Espart before the right-back broke forward and finished well to bring the score level.
The goal gave Barcelona renewed hope, but PSG remained dangerous. Torres came close to restoring the hosts’ lead in the 72nd minute when he struck the right post from close range. PSG did not have to wait long for another chance, though, as Lucas Hernandez rose to meet a corner and powered a header into the net.
Barcelona refused to give up. Lamine Yamal produced an excellent individual effort to make it 2-2, beating Warren Zaire-Emery before finishing past the PSG goalkeeper. The equaliser briefly put the visitors back on level terms, but they could not hold on.
Vitinha restored PSG’s lead in the 81st minute with a superb strike from outside the penalty area. He controlled the ball on his chest before driving his shot into the net, leaving Barcelona with little time to respond.
Fabian Ruiz then settled the contest shortly before the final whistle. His goal completed the scoring at 4-2 and secured a third win in three league-phase matches for Luis Enrique’s side.
