Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is contemplating squad rotation for the upcoming Premier League fixture against Aston Villa, as the team grapples with a mounting injury list and the looming Europa League final.

In a recent press conference, Postecoglou acknowledged the challenges posed by the congested fixture schedule and the necessity to manage player fitness. “We are certainly going to go out there to try to win the game tomorrow and put out a team that hopefully gets that job done,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of balancing competitiveness with player well-being.

The squad has been significantly impacted by injuries, with key players such as Dejan Kulusevski sidelined following knee surgery. “He’s had the surgery, which will put him out for at least a few months,” Postecoglou revealed, expressing uncertainty about Kulusevski’s availability for the start of the next season.

Despite these setbacks, Postecoglou remains optimistic about the team’s resilience and the opportunities presented to emerging talents. “This is a challenge for the players, it is an opportunity for them to put in,” he remarked, highlighting the chance for younger squad members to make an impact.

As Tottenham prepares to face Aston Villa, the manager is keenly aware of the need to maintain momentum while safeguarding player health. “We are certainly going to go out,” Postecoglou affirmed, underlining the team’s commitment to securing a positive result despite the challenges.

The match against Aston Villa presents an opportunity for Tottenham to demonstrate depth and adaptability as they navigate the final stages of the season with aspirations of European success.
