Jordan Pickford has been linked with Bayern Munich, but Everton remain confident the England goalkeeper has no immediate plans to leave the club.

The 32-year-old is under contract with Everton until 2029 and remains fully committed to the club, despite reports linking him with a move to Germany. Sources indicate Bayern are not currently close to making a formal approach.

Pickford has stayed with Everton through some difficult periods and has continued to establish himself as England’s No.1. James Trafford is now pushing him for that position, but Pickford remains confident in his form and status at both club and international level.

There is also a belief that Pickford is now settled enough at Everton that, if the club continues to progress, Goodison Park could ultimately become his final home at the highest level. The goalkeeper has developed into one of the club’s most important players during his time on Merseyside.

The one factor that could potentially change his mind is silverware. Pickford has yet to win a major club trophy, and as he enters the latter stages of his career, the chance to compete regularly for titles could become more tempting.

Bayern would certainly offer that opportunity, with Harry Kane’s move to Munich showing how established Premier League players can seek a fresh challenge in pursuit of trophies.

For now, however, there is no indication Pickford is actively looking for a move. Everton are comfortable with his commitment, while Bayern have yet to make a formal approach, meaning a transfer remains far from inevitable.
