Napoli have placed a €10 million price tag on Romelu Lukaku as they look to offload the Belgian striker.
Napoli are prepared to part ways with Romelu Lukaku this summer as the club looks to reduce its wage bill, with reports in Italy claiming the Belgian striker has been valued at a minimum of €10 million.
The Partenopei are keen to move the veteran forward on largely because of his substantial salary. Lukaku is reportedly earning around €12.5 million per season, with one year still remaining on his current contract at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The striker’s relationship with the club also suffered during the previous campaign after he opted to return to Belgium for treatment and rehabilitation instead of working with Napoli’s medical staff. His decision reportedly frustrated club officials and further strained ties.
Lukaku’s future has become even more uncertain following the departure of Antonio Conte. The former Chelsea boss was a key factor behind the striker’s arrival in Naples, and his exit has significantly reduced the reasons for the 33-year-old to remain at the club.

Despite their eagerness to sell, Napoli are unwilling to let Lukaku leave on the cheap. According to reports from, the Serie A champions will only consider offers starting from €10 million.
An additional factor in any potential deal is Chelsea’s sell-on clause. The Premier League club are entitled to 30 percent of any future transfer fee, although that clause is only activated if Lukaku is sold for at least €15 million.
Lukaku has attracted interest from several destinations ahead of the new season. A romantic return to his boyhood club RSC Anderlecht has been discussed, but a move to Major League Soccer or the Saudi Pro League is currently viewed as the more realistic outcome.
Napoli paid €30.7 million to sign Lukaku on a permanent deal in 2024 after his previous loan spells with Inter and Roma. Two years later, the club is now hoping to close another chapter in the striker’s career while easing its financial commitments ahead of the new campaign.
