Manchester City have agreed a €37.5m (£33m) deal with a further €2.5m in add-ons for Palmeiras winger Allan Elias.
The 22-year-old has agreed to move to the Premier League after making 96 appearances for Palmeiras since his senior debut last year. He has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists but is yet to represent Brazil at senior level.
Allan’s arrival is expected to help City sanction the departure of Savinho to Tottenham. Spurs have agreed a deal to pay £75m plus £10m for the Brazil winger, who has told Maresca that he wants to leave. Tottenham are also pursuing a deal for Omar Marmoush.
In more exits at City, the club are close to losing midfielder Nico Gonzalez to Newcastle. The 24-year-old midfielder is expected to move for about £50m, almost matching the £49.8m City paid Porto for him in January 2025. Newcastle are understood to be confident of completing the transfer.
City have made only one senior signing so far this summer, paying £116m for Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. Allan would be their second incoming.
The club are also close to completing the signing of Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi for €95m (£81.4m) plus €5m, with the 19-year-old believed to have undergone his medical on Monday. If done, he would be their third signing this summer.
