Liverpool will host Chelsea in the standout tie of the Carabao Cup fourth round, while Manchester City have been drawn at home to Brighton.
Liverpool and Chelsea will meet at Anfield in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after both Premier League sides booked their places in the last 16.
The draw has produced one of the biggest ties of the round, with Liverpool earning home advantage against Chelsea in a meeting that will see Blues boss Xabi Alonso return to Anfield.
Liverpool reached the fourth round after beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1, with Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai finding the net for the hosts.
Chelsea also produced an entertaining victory in the third round, coming from two goals down to beat Leeds United 6-3 at Stamford Bridge. Cole Palmer and Danny Welbeck both scored twice, while Pedro Neto and Valentin Barco were also on target.
The fourth-round meeting will be particularly interesting for Alonso, who enjoyed a successful playing career at Liverpool before taking charge of Chelsea. The tie is scheduled to take place in the week commencing October 26.
Manchester City, meanwhile, will host Brighton after completing their third-round campaign with a 5-0 victory over Norwich City. Seventeen-year-old Floyd Samba scored twice on his senior debut as City began their defence of the trophy in style.
Brighton booked their place in the last 16 by coming from two goals down to beat Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford, setting up another Premier League clash.
Elsewhere, Everton will host Newcastle United, Sunderland will welcome Brentford, while Fulham face Crystal Palace. Bournemouth will take on Aston Villa, Bradford City will meet Peterborough United, and League Two side Fleetwood Town have been handed a home tie against Arsenal.

The fourth-round ties will be played during the week commencing October 26, with the winners advancing to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
