Juventus are reportedly looking to capitalize on AC Milan’s crisis by reviving their interest in Leon Goretzka, with the Germany international now reconsidering his future as a free agent.

Leon Goretzka’s expected move to AC Milan could be in serious doubt as the Rossoneri continue to deal with a major leadership crisis behind the scenes. The Germany international had been heavily linked with a move to San Siro, but the uncertainty surrounding the club has reportedly opened the door for rival suitors.

AC Milan’s problems coems from a dramatic restructuring that took place following their failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League. In a sweeping shake-up, the club parted ways with several key figures, leaving them without a head coach, sporting director, chief executive officer, or technical director.

The absence of a clear leadership structure has made it difficult for Milan to conduct transfer business. With no established hierarchy in place, negotiations for potential signings have effectively stalled, while uncertainty remains over the club’s recruitment plans for the upcoming season.

That situation appears to have affected Goretzka’s thinking. The 31-year-old midfielder was believed to be close to agreeing a move to AC Milan after deciding not to extend his stay at Bayern Munich. Having allowed his contract to expire, the experienced midfielder is now available as a free agent and can negotiate with interested clubs.

Juventus are reportedly monitoring the situation closely and are prepared to make a renewed attempt to bring the German international to Turin. The Bianconeri have admired Goretzka for some time and now see an opportunity to take advantage of Milan’s instability.

There could also be interest from elsewhere in Europe. Reports suggest that Max Allegri may look to reunite with the midfielder should he take charge of Napoli, while Arsenal and Olympique Marseille have also been mentioned as possible destinations for the former Bayern star.
