Juventus have completed the signing of Italy forward Jeff Ekhator from Genoa in a deal worth up to €18 million, with the 19-year-old signing a contract until 2031.

Juventus have officially completed the signing of highly rated striker Jeff Ekhator from Genoa in a deal worth an initial €16 million, with performance-related bonuses capable of taking the total package to €18 million.

The transfer was finalised after negotiations accelerated over the past 48 hours, with both clubs quickly reaching an agreement. Ekhator joins the Bianconeri just weeks after making his senior debut for the Italy national team.

Juventus confirmed the financial details of the transfer in an official statement. The club revealed that the €16 million fee will be paid across three financial years, while additional ancillary costs could reach €400,000.

The agreement also includes performance-based bonuses worth up to €2 million. Juventus have tied the promising forward down to a long-term contract that will keep him in Turin until June 30, 2031.

Ekhator is a product of Genoa’s youth academy, progressing through the club’s development system before earning a permanent place in the senior squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Although he has Nigerian heritage, Ekhator was born in Genoa and has represented Italy throughout his international career. His impressive development was rewarded in June 2026 when he earned his first senior cap for the Azzurri.

The young centre-forward will celebrate his 20th birthday in November, but already boasts significant top-flight experience. He leaves Genoa after making 54 Serie A appearances, scoring four goals and providing one assist during his breakthrough spell.

The signing also marks the first major piece of business completed by Juventus’ new director Giovanni Carnevali. Bringing in one of Italy’s most promising young strikers signals the club’s commitment to building for the future while strengthening their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
