Pep Guardiola’s side have made the FA Cup final for the fourth time in a row and can still win three trophies this season

Jeremy Doku has said Manchester City’s run to a fourth consecutive FA Cup final has not fully sunk in, as he targets his first winner’s medal in the competition.

City reached the final again after coming from behind to beat Southampton 2-1 in Saturday’s semifinal, with Doku scoring the equaliser.

The 23-year-old joined the club in 2023, shortly after their previous FA Cup triumph over Manchester United, but has since been on the losing side in the last two finals, against United in 2024 and Crystal Palace in 2025.

“I think we as a squad don’t realise what we are doing, fourth time in a row, it’s unbelievable,” Doku said.

“Fair play to everyone in the club. Every year being there after playing against good teams but still reaching the final every time.

“Now we want to win. I’ve not won it yet and it’s something I want to win. It’s something special.”

City remain in contention for a domestic treble this season. They won the Carabao Cup against Arsenal in March and the FA cup final comes alongside the Premier League run-in, where they are in a race against Arsenal for the title.

With five matches remaining, City are three points behind the Gunners with a game in hand.

“We know we have the squad to do it,” Doku said. “It depends on us – it’s in our hands. We have to play well and focus on ourselves.”
