Vincent Kompany’s side closed the campaign with an incredible 89 points and a staggering 122 league goals, underlining their dominance throughout the season as they lifted another Bundesliga title in style.
The champions wasted no time asserting themselves. Joshua Kimmich found Kane inside the area in the opening minutes, and the England striker volleyed brilliantly past Marvin Schwäbe to hand Bayern an early lead.
Just three minutes later, Bayern doubled their advantage through another Kane goal. Kimmich cleverly rolled a free-kick into the striker’s path, and Kane calmly tucked his finish into the bottom corner to make it 2-0.
Köln briefly threatened to make a contest of it when Said El Mala won possession from Jamal Musiala before embarking on a brilliant solo run and finishing confidently beyond Manuel Neuer to reduce the deficit.
Bayern quickly restored control, however, as Tom Bischof powered home from the edge of the box following excellent link-up play between Lennart Karl and Konrad Laimer. The goal made it 3-1 and capped another impressive attacking move from the hosts.

The Bavarians continued to create chances throughout the contest. Luis Díaz caused constant problems for Köln’s defence, while Musiala and Karl both struck the woodwork as Bayern pushed relentlessly for more goals in front of their home supporters. Kane eventually completed his hat-trick midway through the second half after Leon Goretzka picked him out in space. The striker unleashed a powerful long-range effort beyond Schwäbe to put the game beyond any doubt and continue his outstanding debut Bundesliga campaign.
There was still time for Nicolas Jackson to make an instant impact from the bench in what could be his final appearance for Bayern. Seconds after coming on, the Senegalese striker calmly slotted home Bayern’s fifth goal after good work from Kane and Díaz. The emphatic victory ensured Bayern ended the season on a high, while Köln finished 14th and successfully preserved their Bundesliga status for another year.
