Chelsea are through to the FA Cup final after beating Leeds 1-0 in the semis.

Chelsea finally have a win as they managed to see out a 1-0 win against Leeds United in the FA Cup semifinal.

Chelsea, who have scored in five games and are winless in their last seven, faced in-form Leeds to fight for a place in the FA Cup final. Manchester City moved into the final after beating Southampton 2-1 yesterday, and the winner of Chelsea vs Leeds would face them.

Chelsea started the game brightly, unlike when they faced Brighton, and they saw most of the ball in the opening exchanges, with Enzo testing Perri from range.

However, Leeds had the first real chance of the game when Aaronson saw his low shot saved by Sanchez.

Leeds didn’t really grow into the game in the first half, and a mistake at the back led to their undoing. After putting pressure on the Leeds defence, Chelsea got the ball out to Pedro Neto who put in a delicate cross into the box. The cross found Enzo, who headed in to make it 1-0.

His goal was the decider as both sides failed to create clear-cut chances after. Joao Pedro hit the frame of the goal from close range and couldn’t finish in the second half after a sublime passage of play put him through on goal.

Leeds came close through Stach, whose long-range effort was palmed over the bar by Sanchez.

Chelsea put in a strong performance to reach their 17th FA Cup final in history. They will now face Manchester City, whom they have failed to beat since the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League final.
