Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has won the Premier League Golden Glove award for a third consecutive season after keeping 18 clean sheets during the 2025/26 campaign.
David Raya has once again cemented his place among the Premier League’s elite goalkeepers after securing the Golden Glove award for the third consecutive season. The Arsenal shot-stopper has been a key figure in the club’s impressive campaign, producing another outstanding year between the posts.

Raya has recorded 18 clean sheets in 36 league appearances so far this season, putting him comfortably clear at the top of the standings with two matches still left to play. Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was Raya’s closest challenger with 14 clean sheets, but with only three fixtures remaining, the Italian can no longer catch the Spaniard in the race for the award.
The achievement marks Raya’s third straight Golden Glove triumph since joining Arsenal from Brentford in 2023. In his debut season at the Emirates Stadium, he kept 16 clean sheets before following that up with another successful campaign last year.

Raya shared the award during the 2024/25 season with Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels after both players finished with 13 clean sheets each. Like last term, the Spaniard is also on course to feature in every Premier League game for Arsenal this season.
Only three other goalkeepers in Premier League history have managed to win the Golden Glove in three consecutive campaigns. Liverpool legend Pepe Reina achieved the feat between 2006 and 2008, while Joe Hart won it with Manchester City from 2011 to 2013. Ederson later matched the accomplishment between 2020 and 2022.
With three Golden Gloves now to his name, Raya is just one award away from equalling the all-time record of four victories, currently shared by former Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech and Joe Hart.
Raya also becomes only the third Arsenal goalkeeper to win the award since its introduction in the 2004/05 season. Wojciech Szczesny shared the honour with Petr Cech in 2013/14, while Cech later won it outright during his time with the Gunners in the 2015/16 campaign.
