Borussia Dortmund defender Yan Couto is reportedly open to leaving the club, with Serie A side Como advancing negotiations over a potential summer transfer.
Yan Couto could be on his way out of Borussia Dortmund this summer, with reports suggesting that Serie A outfit Como are making significant progress in their pursuit of the Brazilian wing-back.
According to transfer reports, negotiations between the two clubs have reached an advanced stage, while Couto himself is now said to be open to a move to Italy.

The 24-year-old arrived at Dortmund with high expectations but has struggled to secure a consistent starting role during his time at the Bundesliga club. Competition for places has limited his opportunities, particularly with Julian Ryerson often preferred in the right-sided defensive position.
Despite showing flashes of quality when given chances, Couto has found it difficult to establish himself as an automatic starter, leading to growing speculation over his long-term future at Signal Iduna Park.
Dortmund are reportedly seeking a transfer fee in the region of €20-25 million for the Brazilian. However, discussions have also included the possibility of a loan deal if a permanent agreement cannot be reached immediately.
Como, who continue to strengthen their squad following their rise in Italian football, view Couto as an important addition capable of bringing pace, attacking intent, and versatility to their system.
The defender remains under contract with Dortmund until 2030, giving the German club a strong negotiating position despite the player’s openness to a departure. Any deal would therefore need to satisfy Dortmund’s financial demands.
Since joining the club, Couto has made 62 appearances across all competitions for Dortmund, contributing three goals and four assists. A move to Como could offer him the regular playing time needed to reignite his career and fulfil the potential that made him one of Brazil’s most highly rated young full-backs.
