Chelsea risk losing key players this summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, with growing pressure on Liam Rosenior.

Chelsea are facing the prospect of a major squad shake-up if they fail to secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League. A difficult run of form has left the club outside the top five, raising concerns about both results and long-term stability.

Pressure is mounting on head coach Liam Rosenior, who has struggled to steady the team since taking charge. Chelsea’s inconsistent performances have seen their season drift, leaving their hopes of European football hanging in the balance.

With their league position under threat, Chelsea’s most realistic chance of salvaging the campaign may now come through the FA Cup. However, even that route offers no guarantees as uncertainty continues to build behind the scenes. The club are already planning for changes in the summer, with players such as Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoît Badiashile, and Liam Delap expected to be made available.

More worrying, however, is the growing interest in key figures. Real Madrid are known admirers of Enzo Fernández, while players like Cole Palmer and Marc Cucurella are reportedly becoming frustrated with the club’s direction.

Recent results have only intensified the pressure, with Chelsea managing just one Premier League win in the past two months. Victories have largely come against lower-league opposition, including Wrexham and Port Vale in cup competitions.

While the club continue to publicly support Rosenior, who signed a long-term deal after replacing Enzo Maresca, there are signs of doubt internally. Potential replacements are already being considered, including Cesc Fàbregas, currently in charge of Como.

With fan protests planned ahead of a key clash against Manchester United, the situation is reaching a critical point. Unless results improve quickly, Chelsea could face not only a managerial change but also a significant battle to retain their top players.
