Bayern Munich have reportedly reached a full agreement with Nathaniel Brown, but Eintracht Frankfurt are demanding €60 million before allowing the highly-rated full-back to leave.
Bayern Munich have moved a step closer to signing Nathaniel Brown after reportedly reaching a full agreement with the Eintracht Frankfurt defender over a summer transfer.
According to multiple reports in Germany, the Bundesliga champions have already agreed personal terms with the 22-year-old, who is now keen on making the move to the Allianz Arena ahead of next season.
Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany is said to have held talks with Brown, while the club has reportedly offered the versatile full-back a long-term contract that would keep him in Munich until 2031.
The remaining hurdle is an agreement between the two clubs. Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche is understood to be demanding a transfer fee of around €60 million before sanctioning the player’s departure.
Brown’s stock has risen significantly over the past year, and he further enhanced his reputation with an impressive display in Germany’s recent 2-1 victory over the United States.
His performances have reportedly put him ahead of David Raum in the battle for a starting role at the upcoming World Cup.
The young defender has enjoyed a remarkable rise since joining Frankfurt from Nürnberg for just €3 million in January 2024. He quickly established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most effective attacking full-backs.
During the 2025/26 season, Brown contributed 10 direct goal involvements, including four goals in league competition.
With Bayern pushing to complete a deal and Frankfurt holding out for a substantial fee, negotiations are expected to continue as both clubs seek to reach a compromise.
