Bayern Munich are reportedly tracking Ajax winger Mika Godts as a cheaper alternative to Anthony Gordon.
Bayern Munich have added another intriguing name to their growing list of attacking targets for the summer, with Ajax winger Mika Godts now emerging as a serious option as the Bundesliga champions continue to assess alternatives to Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon.
According to reports, Bayern scouts have been following the Belgian youngster closely after a breakthrough campaign in the Eredivisie that has rapidly elevated his reputation across Europe. At just 20 years old, Godts has become one of Ajax’s standout performers and one of the most productive young wide forwards in Dutch football this season.

Across 29 league appearances, Godts has delivered an impressive return of 16 goals and 11 assists. Bayern believe those attributes fit perfectly with the aggressive transitional football they want to continue building under Vincent Kompany.
The interest becomes even more notable when viewed alongside Bayern’s long-standing admiration for Anthony Gordon. The Newcastle winger remains one of the club’s preferred marquee options, but his expected valuation of around €86 million makes any deal extremely complicated. Godts, by contrast, is viewed as a far more affordable market opportunity, with Ajax likely to demand somewhere in the region of €25 million.
Bayern are not alone in the race, however. Both Manchester United and Manchester City are also believed to be monitoring the youngster’s development closely, meaning Ajax could soon find themselves at the centre of another major bidding battle.
