Coming off their sluggish performance in the UCL, Arsenal must correct their wrongs when they face Everton this weekend.
Arsenal were in action during the week as they faced Bayer Leverkusen in the round-of-16 of the UEFA Champions League. Arsenal were a shadow of themselves as they struggled to create chances and were saved by the fact that Leverkusen barely created any chances.
Bayer Leverkusen deservedly took the lead early in the second half, but Arsenal managed to take a draw back to the Emirates as Havertz converted from the spot.
Although the Gunners will have their minds on the return leg, they must now focus on bouncing back against Everton, who are fighting for a place in Europe next season. Everton moved up to seventh in the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Burnley.
Everton could make this tie hard for the Gunners, but Arsenal need to win to get a confidence boost not just for the return leg of their UCL clash against Bayer Leverkusen but to maintain their ground in the Premier League title race.
