Bayer Leverkusen travel to the Emirates after securing a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
When these sides met last week, it was Arsenal who crawled back to snatch a late penalty to see out a 1-1 draw at the Bay Arena. In a game that was uninspiring from the Gunners, they had Havertz to thank for converting from the spot after what many had called a controversial penalty decision.
However, with that game behind them, both sides turned to their domestic league, with Arsenal pushing to extend their lead in the Premier League title race as they faced Everton, while Bayer Leverkusen faced Bayern Munich.
Leverkusen were impressive once again, taking the lead and holding the league leader off until Bayern equalized to make it 1-1 amidst two red cards. Arsenal, on the other hand, left it late as they scored two late goals to beat Everton 2-0.

Now turning their attention to the second leg of the RO16 tie, both teams need to bring their A game as the tie has a story in it, no matter which side it tilts to at full-time.
Arsenal will want to avoid defeat at home and also continue their strong display and push for the quadruple, while Leverkusen might cause the upset of the season if they end up knocking out Arsenal.
Team News
Arsenal could be without Jurrien Timber, who suffered a first-half injury against Everton. The Gunners could still be without Odegaard and Trossard.
On Leverkusen’s end, Hjulmand was dealt two fresh concerns of his own against Bayern Munich, as goalscorer Aleix Garcia (head) and Martin Terrier (ankle) were both forced off.
If Garcia is forced to follow concussion protocols, the midfielder will almost certainly sit out the second leg, although Hjulmand is hopeful that Terrier, who was the victim of Jackson’s red card-worthy tackle, will recover quickly.
