Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers, but the Premier League champions could face a £100 million valuation.

Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Villa Park, playing a key role in Aston Villa’s fourth-place Premier League finish and helping the club lift the Europa League trophy. His impressive performances have also earned him a place in England’s World Cup squad.

Following their first Premier League title in 22 years, Arsenal are determined to build on their success rather than stand still. Strengthening the attack has been identified as a major priority for the summer transfer window.

A new option on the left side of the attack is believed to be high on Arteta’s wishlist, and Rogers has emerged as one of the players under serious consideration. Although primarily viewed as an attacking midfielder, the England international has shown his versatility by operating effectively on the left wing.

Rogers started twice in the Europa League and 15 times in the Premier League from the left flank last season, demonstrating his ability to adapt to different tactical roles while maintaining a strong attacking output.

Chelsea are also understood to be monitoring the player, but reports suggest Arsenal are particularly impressed by his creativity, athleticism, and flexibility. The North London club are now exploring whether a deal could be possible before the start of next season.

The biggest challenge facing Arsenal is likely to be Aston Villa’s valuation. Villa reportedly view Rogers as one of the most valuable young talents in English football and believe his market value is approaching the £100 million mark.

Having previously sold Jack Grealish to Manchester City for a club-record £100 million fee, Villa are under little pressure to negotiate a discounted deal. Arsenal have also considered other attacking targets, including Anthony Gordon who is now close to joining Barcelona, Rafael Leão, Rodrygo, and Nico Williams, but Rogers remains firmly on their radar as they plan for another title challenge.
