Winger has already had some offers from Benfica and the Saudi Pro League but is prioritising Betis
Manchester United winger Antony is still holding out for a move back to Real Betis.
The Brazilian winger had a re-energising loan spell in Seville in the second half of last season, registering 14 goal contributions as he led Los Verdiblancos to the final of the Conference League.
He has reportedly informed Manchester United he will wait until as late as possible in the transfer window to secure the switch, and Betis are keeping the No 7 shirt open for his return.
United want close to €40m for the 25-year-old, but Betis cannot meet that valuation. Negotiations from the Spanish club have focused instead on either a loan deal with greater financial commitment from them or a co-ownership agreement, which would see the clubs split the player’s rights. But United would prefer a sale.
Antony has already had some offers from Benfica and the Saudi Pro League but he is prioritising Betis after the success he had with them.
The deadline in Spain falls on 1 September, meaning both clubs have just over a week to find a compromise. If no agreement is reached, Antony could still move to Saudi Arabia before that window closes next month, but for now his focus remains on Betis.
