Inter Milan and Juventus have earned substantial prize money from the FIFA Club World Cup, despite being eliminated in the Round of 16.
Inter Milan and Juventus, the two Italian football representatives at the FIFA Club World Cup, have cashed in on their participation in the tournament. Despite being eliminated in the Round of 16, both teams have earned significant prize money.
Inter Milan earned a total of €35.7 million. This includes a participation fee of €24 million, plus €1.9 million for each of their two group stage victories over Urawa Reds and River Plate, and €900,000 for their draw against Monterrey. Qualification for the Round of 16 brought an additional €7 million.

Juventus’s earnings are estimated to be in the region of €28-30 million.
They earned between €18-20 million for participating in the competition, plus €1.9 million for each of their victories against Al Ain and Wydad. Qualification for the Round of 16 added a further €7 million to their total.
The prize money for the tournament varies based on the stage reached, with quarterfinalists earning €12.2 million, semifinalists €19.5 million, finalists €27.9 million, and the winner €37.2 million.
