The Italian champions are weighing up a move for Grealish; player could join De Bruyne in Naples
Serie A might be where Jack Grealish saves his fast fading career, with Napoli reportedly preparing a £45 million offer for the England international.
The Italian champions are weighing up a move for the midfielder as they look to add creative flair to their squad ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. The 29-year-old was notably left out of Pep Guardiola’s Club World Cup squad, fuelling speculation about his future at the Etihad.
Grealish endured a disappointing campaign with City last season, contributing just one goal and one assist in the Premier League. His diminished role under Guardiola, combined with the ongoing reshuffling of City’s midfield, could open the door for a summer departure.
However, Napoli are also tracking Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, so it is now up to the club to decide between Grealish’s experience and Garnacho’s long-term potential. It is understood that a deal is possible for both players at around the same price.
The Italian side are thought to prefer Grealish, who would be reuniting with former City teammate Kevin De Bruyne if the deal goes through.
Grealish is still under contract at City until 2027 and could in fact still decide to remain at the club
