Tottenham have made Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi a priority transfer target as Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen his attack.

Tottenham Hotspur have identified Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi as one of their top attacking targets as they continue an ambitious summer transfer window under new manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Spurs are eager to add another forward after already completing major deals this week.

Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the highly-rated 20-year-old, but Tottenham are determined to stay at the front of the race. The North London club have already begun exploring the conditions of a potential transfer as they assess their attacking options.

Any deal for Kroupi is expected to be extremely difficult. Bournemouth have no desire to sell one of their brightest young stars and are understood to value the French forward at more than £80 million before they would even consider opening negotiations.

Despite that hefty valuation, Tottenham remain optimistic about their chances. After sealing the high-profile arrivals of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, Spurs have demonstrated both their financial strength and willingness to invest heavily in De Zerbi’s squad.

Sources indicate there is a belief that Kroupi would be interested in making a high-profile move this summer if the right opportunity arises. That has encouraged Tottenham to make early enquiries, even though Bournemouth are standing firm over their asking price.

Kroupi is not the only attacking option under consideration. Tottenham have also explored a move for Monaco striker Folarin Balogun, who is reportedly valued at around £50 million after impressing for the United States during the World Cup.

Their search for reinforcements has intensified after talks over a move for Manchester City’s Savinho failed to make significant progress. As a result, Kroupi is now viewed as an attractive alternative due to his versatility across the front line.

Tottenham’s recruitment team are continuing to evaluate several attacking targets, with the club hoping to complete another signing within the next two weeks.

De Zerbi has already overseen an impressive start to the transfer window, but Tottenham appear determined to strengthen even further before the new season begins.
