Arsenal finished their Premier League title-winning campaign with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park as Mikel Arteta’s side celebrated lifting the trophy in style.

Despite already being crowned champions, Arsenal started with intensity and nearly found the breakthrough inside the opening minutes. Gabriel Jesus struck the post after a dangerous move before Dean Henderson reacted quickly to deny Noni Madueke on the rebound.
Jesus looked especially lively throughout the first half and could easily have scored more than once before the interval. The Brazilian forward missed a one-on-one opportunity after Henderson rushed out to smother his effort, before later glancing another chance into the side netting from close range.

However, the striker eventually got the goal his performance deserved. Gabriel Martinelli split the Palace defence with a perfectly weighted pass, allowing his fellow Brazilian to race through and fire a powerful finish beyond Henderson at the near post.
Crystal Palace offered little attacking threat during the first half, although Daniel Muñoz came close with a diving header that forced an excellent save from Kepa Arrizabalaga, who made his only Premier League appearance of the season for Arsenal.
The visitors doubled their advantage shortly after the restart through another well-worked set-piece routine. Martinelli delivered a dangerous corner to the far post, where Kai Havertz headed the ball back across goal for Madueke to volley neatly into the net.

Palace attempted to respond as the game opened up, with Jørgen Strand Larsen wasting a promising opportunity from inside the box.
Arsenal supporters, meanwhile, celebrated the return of Mikel Merino from injury, while teenage midfielder Max Dowman made history by becoming the youngest-ever starter in Premier League history.
There was also an emotional moment when former Arsenal academy graduate Eberechi Eze entered the pitch for Palace to a mixed reception from the home crowd. Merino later missed a golden opportunity to mark his comeback with a goal, blazing over from close range late in the match.
Crystal Palace managed to pull one back through Jean-Philippe Mateta after excellent work from substitute Yeremy Pino, although another late effort from Pino was ruled out for offside.

Arsenal ultimately held firm to end their title-winning campaign in style, matching the Invincibles’ tally of 26 league victories as attention now turns toward next week’s European finals for both clubs.
