In an official statement released on Thursday, Tottenham announced that Odobert will undergo surgery to repair the damage. While the club did not specify a recovery timeline, British media reports suggest the Frenchman could miss the remainder of the season.

The setback compounds a turbulent week for Tottenham, who parted ways with manager Thomas Frank earlier today following an eight-game winless run in the Premier League. The club currently sits just five points above the relegation zone, adding further pressure during an already difficult campaign.
The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today.
Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.

Odobert’s injury adds to an extensive list of absentees that has affected Tottenhm throughout the season. Richarlison remains sidelined, while Porro, Spence, and several key midfielders, including James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Lucas Bergvall, have also been dealing with fitness issues.
The mounting injuries have sparked frustration within the squad. Earlier this month, captain Cristian Romero publicly criticised the club’s lack of depth in an Instagram post, highlighting concerns over the thin roster amid the demanding schedule.
Currently languishing in 16th place, Tottenham face a daunting test next when they host league leaders Arsenal in the North London derby on February 22. With injuries piling up and uncertainty surrounding the managerial situation, Tottenham must quickly regroup to avoid being dragged further into the relegation battle.
