This is a guide on all the teams in group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and predictions on how the group stage could look.
Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature five-time World Cup winners Brazil alongside Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti. There are a few storylines in this group that make it one to look out for.
Brazil come into this World Cup under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti, looking to claim the prize for the first time in 24 years. Morocco will be hoping to recreate their historic run of 2022. Scotland returns to the World Cup for the first time in 28 years, while for Haiti, it is their first appearance since 1974.

Brazil
The samba boys of South America will once again grace the World Cup, but this time, the feeling is different. Carlo Ancelotti is at the wheel, and Brazilians will hope that their own tactical genius, who has conquered football at club level, can do the same at the national level.
Brazil have named their World Cup squad, and the biggest surprise is Joao Pedro’s absence but nonetheless, Brazil will be excited to see Neymar return to the team and hopefully lead the team with the likes of Vinicius and Raphina to World Cup glory.

Brazil is known for its free-flowing attacking football, which relies on individual talents. With the dependable Igor Thiago in front, while Vinicius and Raphina wreak havoc from the sides, Brazil will believe that there is a strong chance they win the whole thing.
Prediction: Brazil finishes top of the group.
Morocco
The Atlas Lions of Morocco are also favorites to scale past the group stage, and if they can replicate their form from the 2026 AFCON and the past World Cup campaign, they could give Brazil a run for their money and even top the group.
Morocco are known to be disciplined with or without the ball. They are hard to break down, close down spaces quickly, and move as a unit. On the ball, they are quick, and the pace of Brahim Diaz and Achraf Hakimi could split open defences in a flash.
Ez Abde has also been reliable for the team and could be an underrated weapon for the Moroccans.
Prediction: Morocco finishes second.
Scotland
Back in the World Cup for the first time in 28 years, the Scots are in high spirits. Under Steve Clarke and riding on the newly-found form of Scott McTominay, Scotland have left an impression on the hearts of many neutrals.
They focus on wing-play and remaining compact rather than relying on individual brilliance. Their 2026 World Cup squad has confirmed that the core group of McTominay, McGinn, Gilmour, and Robertson will lead the team at the 2026 World Cup.

While they aren’t favorites to make it out of the group, they could cause a few upsets and provide a few memories for their fans and neutrals.
Prediction: Scotland finish third.
Haiti
Appearing in the World Cup for the second time since 1974, Haiti are the clear underdogs in this group. With a squad that haven’t tasted international football at this level, inexperience could easily rue their chances of making something out of this historic feat.
Their squad features a few interesting names in William Isidor of Sunderland and Wolves’ Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who could provide some moments of brilliance. Realistically, they may not make it out of the group, but football isn’t scripted, especially at the World Cup.
Prediction: Haiti finishes last.
