Saudi recruiters are aiming to make a significant offer for the player, with Al-Hilal the main club interested
Vinicius Junior could be heading to Saudi Arabia in the summer with Saudi Pro League clubs prepared to offer Real Madrid a significant bid to sign the Brazilian.
The 25-year-old’s contract runs out in 2027 but talks to renew have stalled for over a year. It is understood that Vinicius told the club he would not sign a new contract while his relationship with head coach Xabi Alonso remained poor.
However, even without Alonso, Madrid and Vinicius have not been in agreement over the pay package, with Vinicius requesting a deal, including wages and bonuses, closer to the significant sums that Kylian Mbappe has enjoyed since arriving at the club.
Vinicius has since faced a difficult time on the pitch. He went on a 19-game scoring drought up until January, and alongside Jude Bellingham, was singled out by the Bernabeu crowd for whistling and boos in the 2-0 victory over Levante last weekend.
Saudi recruiters are aiming to make a significant offer to Madrid in the summer for the player, with Al-Hilal the main club interested in a deal, according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs.
Madrid are still interested in keeping Vinicius but it is understood contract talks are unlikely to be reopened until after the 2026 World Cup.
