Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany expects emotions to play a key role in the team’s Champions League match against Pafos, but remains focused on securing a win.

Bayern Munich has arrived in Cyprus, ready to take on FC Pafos in the Champions League. Vincent Kompany, the team’s manager, knows that the match won’t be an easy win, despite Bayern’s strong reputation.

Pafos has already played seven games without losing a single one, and Kompany acknowledges that his team needs to be prepared for a tough opponent.

Kompany emphasized that emotions will be an important factor in the match, and his team needs to be focused to get the three points. “Emotions will be an important factor tomorrow, too,” he said. “They’ll keep this game alive – but it’s also a lot of fun getting to know new teams.” Kompany knows that his team needs to respect their opponents and come out on top.

The Belgian manager is focused on fielding a strong team and getting a win, regardless of the scoreline. “I’ve never gone into a game where we say we want to score four or five goals today,” he said. “No. We want to win here, even if only 1-0; that’s still a win.”

Kompany also addressed the issue of goal difference, saying that it’s not a major concern for him. His focus is on winning the match, rather than trying to score a certain number of goals. With three games in nine days, Kompany knows that his team needs to be well-rested and prepared to avoid upsets against Pafos or in upcoming games.
