Tottenham may have eased relegation fears after the 1-1 draw against Liverpool but there is still  uncertainty regarding Igor Tudor’s future at the club

Tottenham Hotspur earned a valuable point in their Premier League relegation battle after drawing 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield, but the result has not fully clarified the future of manager Igor Tudor.

Despite fielding a depleted squad, Tudor guided Spurs to a hard-fought draw that leaves the club just one point above the relegation zone. However, uncertainty remains about whether he will stay in charge for the remainder of the season.

Reports suggest that Tottenham’s hierarchy began discussing potential managerial replacements shortly after their heavy Champions League defeat to Atlético Madrid.

One of the names believed to be under consideration is Roberto De Zerbi, who has attracted attention after leaving Olympique de Marseille and previously impressing in the Premier League with Brighton & Hove Albion.

However, convincing De Zerbi to accept a short-term role until the end of the campaign could prove difficult, as the Italian coach is expected to seek a long-term project. He has also reportedly been linked with other opportunities, including a potential role at Manchester United.

Tottenham are understood to prefer appointing an interim coach to guide the team through the remainder of the season. If the club manages to avoid relegation, there is speculation that a move to bring back former manager Mauricio Pochettino could be revisited in the summer.

Other potential candidates mentioned in connection with the job include Ryan Mason, Harry Redknapp, Tim Sherwood and Sean Dyche.

For now, Tudor is expected to remain in charge as Tottenham prepare for a crucial Champions League clash with Atlético Madrid before facing Nottingham Forest in another vital Premier League fixture next weekend.

Looking at the Liverpool game, Igor Tudor believes this is a turning point for the season. Tottenham fought as they could smell blood in the water with every attack against Liverpool and after getting that goal in the dying minutes, Tudor hopes it’ll give the Tottenham players the belief to fight for the rest of the season.
